The Devil is in the Details
By comparing world events with the Bible’s description of what’s to come, it looks like we could be moving towards the Seven Years very quickly. It’s possible they have already begun. The following are events that must occur, and details to watch, for their evolution and implementation as time passes. It is important to remember that Jesus said all these things must occur, and they must occur in specific times and order, with distinct details being fulfilled. In the past, many have been incorrect thinking that their time was the time. But no time in history has yet fulfilled every last detail exactly as God foretold it. This is why it is important to study all the details and watch the events that we are seeing closely. Our time could be the time, but we can only be sure that it is when everything happens exactly the way the Bible lays out. God has fulfilled past prophecies with perfect precision. God will fulfill prophecies of the Seven Years exactly, as His faithful, honest, and perfect character and essence require.

1) The Seven Years begins AT THE MOMENT THE TREATY IS CONFIRMED between the rising star world leader, Israel and the many.
Seven Years and three and a half years
The treaty must be confirmed as Seven Years, and then has to be broken 3.5 years in, leaving 3.5 remaining years for the Antichrist’s reign. God lists this specific time frame in different scriptures as 1260 days, 42 months and ‘times, time and half a time’ underscoring this time period with great specificity. This time frame of 3.5 years is also in alignment with several events during the total Seven Years. These events include the ministry of the two witnesses who appear during the Seven Years to preach coming judgment of Christ at His return, the time the Gentiles (non-Jews) who will trample the outer courts of the Jewish Temple and the city of Jerusalem, and the time that Israel will flee and hide in the wilderness from the Antichrist. (Daniel 7:25, 9:27, 12:5-7; Revelation 11:2-3, 12:6,14, 13:5).
World leader is known at the mid-point
The Antichrist has to be the one to confirm the treaty with Israel. Jesus, Paul and John did not focus on the confirmation of this covenant however, but rather the breaking of it. This happens halfway through the Seven Years when he sets up an image of himself in the Jewish Holy Place demanding worship as God. He will stop the customary sacrifices there, revealing that he is of his father Satan. Jesus specifically noted this as one of the big signs that the End was on its way. For this reason, it is possible that the treaty, worldwide collapse and rise of the Antichrist may begin before people are aware. Even though there is currently a treaty in play in Israel with other nations, no one leader can be singled out as the Antichrist at this point (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24, 2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13:11-18).
The Jewish Temple
The treaty could very likely contain a provision to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The prophecy in Daniel 9:27, doesn’t list this provision specifically, however, because the Antichrist stops sacrifice and offering (which are acts of worship in the Jewish Temple) and sets himself up as God to be worshiped there, the Temple has to be built in some measure before the halfway point when this desecration happens. At the very least, the sacrifices and offerings must begin again at this site in Jerusalem. Currently, the Al Aqsa Mosque stands there. Many are watching the current treaty between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain. Other nations are thinking about joining the agreement. In this treaty, the Abraham Accords, there is currently a provision for other religions to worship upon the Temple Mount alongside Muslim worship. It is thought by many that when the treaty spoken of in the Bible comes about (perhaps a later version of this current treaty), that the Jewish Temple may share the Temple Mount with the Al Aqsa Mosque. Time will tell. But even if the rebuilding of the Temple isn’t a provision in the treaty, the Temple must be rebuilt before the mid-point of the Seven Years, so the desecration of the Temple, the ‘abomination of desolation’, can take place (Matthew 24:15-16; 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4, Revelation 13).
Fake Peace
The treaty in the Bible will be characterized by the idea of ‘peace’ when it is first confirmed. But in the book of Daniel in the Bible, it says that the evil world leader will break the treaty 3.5 years in, will stop the sacrifice and offerings, and will set up himself (and likely a statue of himself) in the Temple requiring people to worship him as God. The Jewish people are told to flee Jerusalem when they see this happen, because it will be a sign that the fake peace has been broken, and the world leader will show his true colors, turning against the Jewish people (Daniel 9:27, Revelation 6:1-2).
2) The WHOLE WORLD must go into war, financial collapse, disease and famine.
It is true that all of these kinds of events have happened all over the world throughout time. But it has never happened everywhere all at once. During WW1 and WW2 there were nations that were not in war. During the Spanish Flu and the Bubonic Plague, not all nations were affected by sickness and death. The picture given of the final Seven Years is that of everything happening in succession affecting everyone everywhere. Jesus gave these signs as precursors to the true big signs of the End that would later come. So it is possible the world will begin unraveling, and humanity be in the midst of the Seven Years before many are awake to the fact.
Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse
The four horsemen of the Apocalypse are the first four seals of the scroll that Jesus opens in Revelation 6. In Revelation 5, Jesus Christ is symbolized as the Lamb slain for the sins of the world, and the only one worthy to open the title deed of the earth which belongs to Him because He purchased it with His blood. As He breaks open the seven seals on the scroll, this begins the final events of the age.
“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:8-10)
White Horse - Antichrist & False Peace
The first seal releases a horseman who is a ‘false Christ’ (rising star world leader / Antichrist) and, he begins to ride out on a white horse to conquer the world in a false peace. Other passages of scripture speak of other ‘false Christs’ and ‘false prophets’ who will arise during this time leading lots of people astray. Although it is true that there seems to be a variety of charlatans during this time, as there have been since Jesus ascension, there are also a specific Antichrist and False Prophet who form the Un-holy Trinity during this time in their connection with Satan. The Antichrist (the evil rising star world leader), will confirm a fake peace treaty with Israel, and will ascend to power. (Daniel 9:27; Revelation 6:1-2).
Red Horse - War of All Kinds
The second horse is a red horse. He rides out to remove peace on the earth spreading war that is characterized by all manner of conflict. It will be war between races, civil war between neighbors, friends and families, and international worldwide war. These wars will affect absolutely everyone on the earth. (Revelation 6:3-4). “For nation will rise against nation [‘ethnos’/race against ‘ethnos’/race], and kingdom against kingdom [country against country]...” (Matthew 24:7). “And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” (Revelation 6:4).
There is also a war that appears in Ezekiel 38-39 where several nations listed come against Israel. These nations are Iran, Turkey, possibly Russia, Libya and Ethiopia/Sudan. Saudi Arabia and other nations protest these nations actions, but they do not intervene. In fact no one intervenes. Many have noted that no mention is made of a powerful nation of the west coming to Israel’s aid, which would mean that the US at this point has either changed our alliance with Israel or has been rendered unable to help when this attack on Israel occurs. But the miracle of this prophecy, is that God alone comes to Israel’s aid. Israel is miraculously saved against all odds, and the world is left to conclude that God rescued them. Many think this particular war may occur directly before the Seven Years, though it could occur as part of the wars within the Seven Years or it could align with the battle of Armageddon at the very end of the age when Jesus returns and defeats the Antichrist. These chapters are sandwiched between chapter 37, which talks about the rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948, and the description of the Millennial Kingdom of Christ in chapter 40. For this reason, it would make sense that this war will occur during or near the Seven Years. Many are watching the activities of the nations listed in 38-39 to see if they are beginning to align the way the Bible describes.
Black Horse - Financial Collapse & Scarcity
This world-wide war leads to the third seal which releases the rider of the black horse collapsing the world-wide economy and resulting in scarcity of food and other supplies needed to live. No one on earth will have what they need to survive. Everyone will come to desperation. As a solution, the Antichrist will create a global financial system enabling everyone to take care of their needs through something that is placed on/in their right hand or forehead. The catch is that to take this ‘mark’ will mean that a person makes a conscious decision to follow the Antichrist and be subject to him both in actions and devotion. Essentially, it is selling one’s soul (mind, will and emotions), to the devil (Revelation 6:5-6; Revelation 13).
Pale Green Horse - Famine, Disease, Violence, Death
The fourth horseman is the pale green horse-the color of death. The collapse of the economy leads to famine, the spread of disease, and death. The scarcity (along with the many geologic, environmental and cosmic cataclysms described in other portions of the Bible), will even cause the animal kingdom to go crazy with hunger, and they will attack humans. The ‘beasts of the earth’ listed could also include hybrid chimeras who are also mentioned as being on the scene during this time. Swords are also mentioned as a cause of the death of this time. Many believe that the four horseman span a large portion of Seven Years. If this is true, then it would make sense that the death by the sword mentioned as part of the fourth horseman’s events, could coincide with the martyrdom of those who refuse to take the ‘mark’ and are beheaded. This event will happen after the mid-point of the Seven Years. (Revelation 6:7-8; Isaiah 13; Joel 3; Revelation 18.)
3) The collapse of all nations must occur and WORLD GOVERNMENT MUST RISE.
Collapse
So the collapse of free nations has to happen first, and then as a solution, the one world government and its leader will rise. This includes the fall of the USA. Freedom loving peoples will not want to live under one central dictatorship, so they will have to be destroyed or dissolved and assimilated into a communist tyranny. The collapse of nations may begin to occur even before the Seven Years comes, because the world government of the Antichrist must rise out of it. But it is certainly true that the collapse will also continue occurring during the ‘time of peace’ between Israel, the Antichrist and other nations during the first 3.5 years of the Seven years before he breaks the contract. In context, this ‘peace’ of the treaty is happening in this location specifically between these parties, but the rest of the world as a whole will be disintegrating into chaos.
Solutions of the One World
The evil rising leader (some call the Antichrist) will rise out of the world government. The world government will have some connection to the old Roman Empire and will have ten divisions, such as the ten regions of the United Nations. The World Government of the Antichrist will provide solutions. Through the use of a mark in a person’s right hand and/or forehead, people will be able to buy and sell food through the world government’s controlled financial system and provisions. The wars and conflict will decrease because each person will be given a choice. Those who join the world leader by taking his mark will be required to give allegiance and worship to him. Those who don’t will be hunted down and killed by beheading. With all of the dissenters gone, the world can move forward to rebuild in a false ‘unity’.
4) The world leader will require some sort of ‘MARK’ TO BE TAKEN ON PEOPLE'S HANDS OR FOREHEADS.
Order Out of Chaos
The mark is a sign of allegiance to him, and it will give people the ability to buy and sell. So to survive, people will have to choose to take this man’s ‘mark.’ This decision will seem to be good because it will bring about order, stability and survival for the global community. It will be an anchor for the global financial system. It will bring unity and community to all who join in. It will bring safety from death for individuals and families. It will get everyone going in the same direction. At least, this is how it will be sold to the public.
A Choice Must be Made
Many are currently concerned about the direction that vaccines are headed, because some vaccines being proposed contain the ability to do banking and commerce through the technology that can be implanted along with the vaccines. It looks like this could be the path the this ‘mark’, known in Revelation 13 as the ‘Mark of the Beast.’ Once the 'Beast' the Antichrist is known, he will use whatever the technology of the time and will attach his very name to it, so that people will be pledging allegiance to him. Regardless, all such gene therapies must thoroughly be researched, studied and scrutinized by each of us before being implemented or taken, even before we know the Antichrist's name, as he will be at work in the shadows even before he takes the reins. Many will die before he rises to full power, so we need to be wary at all times.
It is true for anyone who is given this choice when the 'mark' arises, that to choose against it, will result in being killed. But saving one’s neck in the moment in this short life isn’t worth it. The Bible says that those who take it can never be eternally saved. When Jesus returns to kill the Antichrist and set the world right, all who are the Antichrist’s side (who have his mark), will be destroyed for eternity. Although those who choose Jesus will die, they will spend eternity with Him in the joy filled peaceful New Heavens and New Earth. (Revelation 13, 16:2, 19:19-21)
Death to Dissenters
Those who don’t take the leader’s mark will be beheaded. Symbols of guillotines, references to this type of execution from the French Revolution, and people wishing it upon one another, can be heard from rioters and politicians alike in our current news cycle. This may be a shock to some, but there are already guillotines ready and waiting throughout the world, even in the USA, right now, today. They will be used to kill those who refuse the Antichrist’s mark, but there is no reason to believe that these measures and devices won’t be employed against humanity and nations as part of the world-wide collapse, even before the world government rises and the Seven Years begin. After all, killing all the freedom loving peoples of the world is going to take some time. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4
5) PERSECUTION of Christians, Jews and those who defy the World Government.
Persecution During the Seven Years
Persecution of those who follow Jesus and God is spoken of throughout the books of Matthew, Luke and Revelation. After the four horsemen are released with the opening of the first four seals, the fifth seal that Jesus opens on the scroll is martyrdom. Those who refuse the mark are killed. Those who have a testimony of Jesus are killed. Jews are chased out of Jerusalem when the Antichrist desecrates their temple himself. He seeks to kill Jews throughout the world. Some who say they are Christians will fall away from God because of all the pain in the world. Their ‘love grows cold,’ and they turn their friends and families in to the authorities. Followers of Christ are dragged into places of worship and prisons and are forced to give an account for their beliefs. The persecution in Matthew 24 occurs parallel to that of Revelation 6 which happens towards the end of the Seven Years. These two scriptures may also coincide with the martyrdom of those who refuse the mark in Revelation 13, 16 and 20.
Persecution Before the Seven Years
But in Luke 21, which is Luke’s account of the Olivet Discourse (the same teaching Jesus gives in Matthew 24), Luke also adds that there is persecution before the events of the four horsemen. Many believe that the events of the first horseman aligns with the actions of the Antichrist at the beginning of the Seven Years. This would mean that persecution of Christians and Jews according to Luke also occurs even before the Seven Years begin. This is certainly a reference to the general persecution who has happened over the last 2,000 years since Christ ascended to heaven. However, because these passages are in specific alignment with the details of the Seven Years, it makes sense to believe that we will see a specific persecution of believers before the treaty is signed and the Seven Years begin. “But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.” Luke 21:12-17
6) EARTHQUAKES.
Other signs to be watching are earthquakes, and the magma movements and volcanic eruptions which coincide with geologic changes. Earthquakes occur as a part of the opening of the 6th seal in Revelation 6. This aligns with Matthew 24, Luke 21 and the Joel 2-3. There is a specific event that will occur after the 3.5 year persecution of Jews and Christians by the Antichrist. This persecution is called the Great Tribulation and the Time of Jacob’s (Israel) Trouble. But the Bible says immediately after those days that the sun is darkened, the moon turns to blood, the stars fall signaling that the Day of the Lord has come. This is the Day of Jesus’ return to judge the Antichrist, the False Prophet, Satan, fallen and demonic creatures, and all humans on their side.
But earthquakes are also mentioned by Jesus as coming during the times before the end. There will be earthquakes in various places, ‘but the end is not yet’ (Matthew 24:6). So another thing to be watching for are earthquakes and geologic changes all around the world. Many are unaware that there are massive magma movements, increases in earthquakes and cracks appearing, and volcanoes becoming active around the world and the United States today.
CONCLUSION
In comparison of world events and the Bible, it looks like we are moving towards the End very quickly. It is important to remember that Jesus said all these things must occur, and they must occur in specific times and order, with distinct details being fulfilled. Our time could be the time, but we can only be sure that it is when everything happens exactly the way the Bible lays out. God has fulfilled past prophecies with perfect precision. God will prophecies of the Seven Years exactly as He promised.

See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Isaiah 13:19-22 (LXX)
And Babylon, which is called glorious by the king of the Chaldeans, shall be as when God overthrew Sodoma, and Gomorrha. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall any enter into it for many generations: neither shall the Arabians pass through it; nor shall shepherds at all rest in it. But wild beasts shall rest there; and the houses shall be filled with howling; and monsters shall rest there, and devils shall dance there, and satyrs shall dwell there; and hedgehogs shall make their nests in their houses. It will come soon, and will not tarry.
Revelation 16:2
So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.
