For our reality and experience of life to be fulfilling, rewarding, peaceful, blessed, useful, impactful we have to be brought back into the alignment with God, Others & Ourselves. We are designed in the image of God. Jesus’ death & resurrection restores us back into the image of God. We can only be complete and who we are supposed to be when we are “in Christ.”
IDENTITY - OUR DESIGNER
Who Is God?
We are designed in the image of God. Jesus’ death & resurrection restores us back into the image of God. We can only be complete and who we are supposed to be when we are “in Christ.”
IDENTITY - HUMANKIND
Who Is Man? What does it mean to be human?
We are designed in the image of God. Jesus’ death & resurrection restores us back into the image of God. We can only be complete and who we are supposed to be when we are “in Christ.”
SIN - OUR DEMISE
Who did Adam’s Sin do to man’s identity & purpose?
We are designed in the image of God. Adam’s sin as well as our own destroyed our identity & purpose so that everything we experience in life is dysfunctional & divided. Because of this dis-integration, our bodies, souls & spirits die. We don’t know who we are. We feel lost, broken, confused, discontent, restless, sad, purposeless....
JESUS - OUR SALVATION
How did Jesus restore man’s identity & purpose?
When Jesus died and rose again, He saved our spirit by justification, is saving our soul through sanctification and will save our body in glorification. By being “IN CHRIST” we become reintegrated and both our internal and external worlds are restored. In our lives we can then know who we are and can live out our purpose.
JESUS - OUR REUNIFICATION
How does this affect my everyday life today and in the future?
By being “IN CHRIST” we become reintegrated and both our internal and external worlds are restored. By walking “IN CHRIST” we live in a way that changes our thoughts, perspectives, feelings, goals, purpose. We experience what it is like to be who we were designed to be as a part of the human race, and as the unique individual creations God created us to be.
